Workshop: Integrating Engineering and Economics in Flood Risk Assessment for Climate Adaptation

CARISMA, within the Educating Future Citizens (EFC) project, is organising a two-day transdisciplinary workshop on integrated flood risk assessment for climate adaptation.

The workshop is aimed at PhD students and brings together engineering and economic perspectives to address the growing challenges of climate-driven hydrological risk, a theme central to CARISMA’s research mission.

Programme highlights

The programme includes high-level keynote lectures from leading international scholars, advanced methodological sessions on infrastructure modelling, systemic risk, behavioural dynamics, and agent-based approaches to flood adaptation.

Interactive discussions will explore research frontiers and policy implications at the interface of physical risk modelling and economic evaluation.
